Queen Silekunola Naomi announces her divorce from Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife.

The ex-Queen announced the end of her three-year marriage in a statement posted on her verified Instagram account on Thursday.

She wrote in parts: “I did my best to endure and make it work; many times, I smiled through the struggle, but I have finally realized I had just one assignment, my son, and when God is done, He is done. He chose Saul to be king, and when He was done, He told the prophet Samuel I have moved on. Religion was never an issue between us; please refer to my interview on News Central TV. Instead, His Majesty has a picture he would love the world to see and perceive him as and another one which is his true self.”

Some social media users have slammed Hauwa Saidu Jaruma, also known as Jaruma, after revealing she only spent two days in Police custody and not four days as widely reported.

The9jafresh earlier reported that Jaruma was granted bail on Friday afternoon, 28th January 2022, after spending days in detention.

However, Jaruma expressed gratitude to everyone who has asked for her release in a new video that has appeared online, indicating that she was arrested on Monday and released on Tuesday.

Many people may not trust Jaruma, but they check the date of her release video uploaded on her Whatsapp status, according to her.

As expected, some netizens reacted to the post urging her to take a break as she was only lying and seeking social media validation.

Jaruma was arraigned before an Abuja high court on charges bordering on defamation of character, false news publication and intimidation of former lawmaker, Ned Nwoko on the internet.

The billionaire businessman had accused Jaruma of publishing falsehoods on her Instagram page against him and his wife, Regina Daniels.

Justice Ismaila Abdullahi in his ruling on Monday had ordered that Jaruma be remanded in the Suleja Correctional Centre pending the bail hearing on Friday.

The Judge while ruling on her bail application on Friday said her remand should not be seen as a punishment to the defendant.

Abdullahi warned all parties involved in the matter to refrain from actions that could be considered prejudicial to the case.

After former Big Brother Naija Housemate Whitemoney paid him a courtesy visit, MC Oluomo, Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers Lagos Chapter, ignited viral comments with a social media post.

MC Oluoma released a video of him and Whitemoney discussing and expressing excitement about the visit on his Instagram page.

MC Oluomo expressed his astonishment at seeing Whitemoney and said that they had a nice conversation.

MC Oluomo went on to say how good it was to have Whitemoney around, thanking Olufumi of Lagos for making it happen.

He wrote: I was surprised when the winner of the BBNaija season 6, Hazel Oyeze Onoduenyi, aka Whitemoney, paid me a courtesy visit. I had a fruitful discussion with him. I must confess it’s nice having him around. Thanks, olufumilagos, for making this happen. Wishing you more height and success

Many Nigerians, however, were taken aback by MC Oluomo’s caption, with many wondering who assisted him in creating the post.

This comes just days after a video leaked online showing MC Oluomo unable to explain himself while speaking about the horrific confrontation at Idumota.

Uche Maduwagu, according to The9jafresh, recently tackled Whitemoney after receiving a signed card from former Senator Dino Melaye.

Whitemoney was seen declaring in a video released online after receiving the card that poverty would not kill him, that he had made it, and that he would sleep well tonight.

In response, Uche Maduagwu, in a post on his Instagram page, criticized Whitemoney for claiming to be made, despite the fact that his colleague Laycon had performed for Grammy.

Uche Maduaguw averred that he sees a drop of greatness in Whitemoney only if he listens to the voice of wisdom.

According to Uche Maduagwu, visiting politicians and billionaires isn’t an achievement but should focus on the restaurant business, which would draw rich and powerful men to him.

After spending days in custody, aphrodisiac entrepreneur Hauwa Saidu Jaruma, popularly known as Jaruma, was granted bail.

Jaruma was charged with defamation of character, false news publication, and cyber intimidation of former lawmaker, Ned Nwoko, before an Abuja high court.

The billionaire businessman had accused Jaruma of spreading lies about him and his wife, Regina Daniels, on her Instagram page.

Jaruma was remanded in the Suleja Correctional Centre pending a bail hearing on Friday, according to Justice Ismaila Abdullahi’s judgment on Monday.

On Friday, the judge denied her bail application, stating that her confinement should not be viewed as a punishment for the defendant.

Abdullahi advised all parties engaged in the case not to do anything that could jeopardize the lawsuit’s outcome.

He said, “The court did not remand her in custody as a punitive means to penalise the defendant but to make her present and answer to her case. By this, I shall be quick to point out that the charge against the defendant is bailable but not ordinary.

“I hereby grant her bail on the following conditions: That the surety must be a level 12 civil servant working within the FCT. Also, all the parties involved in the case should stay from anything that would be prejudicial to the case.”

He, however, adjourned the case till February 23 for a hearing.
