“Me and Mompha never dated” – Bobrisky makes U-turn, apologizes for their social media fight last year (Video)

Nigerians have mocked controversial crossdresser Idris Okunneye, also known as Bobrisky, after he apologized to Nigerian billionaire Mompha, who lives in Dubai.

Bobrisky’s public apology comes just days after Mompha threatened to sue Bobrisky for character defamation.

Bobrisky apologized to Mompha for disrespecting him in a video that has gone viral on social media.

Mompha was like a brother to Bobrisky before he became famous, according to Bobrisky.

In his word: Mompha has never judged me before. He is like a brother to me. He has been there. Even before I became so famous. Mompha has been there.

It’s so wrong of me. I disrespected him and that is why I am doing this video to tell him I am sorry. A lot of people don’t want to see me happy. Mompha is a great guy. Mompha and I never, ever dated. Mompha is my brother.”

This generated reactions online, with many people mocking Bobrisky, stating he is afraid of the one billion Naira lawsuit.

The9jafresh recalls Mompha, on his Instagram page, shared a lawsuit notice against Bobrisky for not debunking the claim of him being gay.

He also accused Bobrisky of making a false claim of him borrowing his car each time he’s in Nigeria and gossiping with him about actress Anita Joseph.

Mompha added that Bobrisky carried out a campaign to smear his name with his assertion that he was “an audio billionaire renting cars in Dubai for the gram”.

Mompha urged Bobrisky to retract his statement within seven days, tendered an apology on two major newspapers, and compensation of one billion Naira.

The post read: LIBELOUS AND DEFAMATORY PUBLICATIONS MADE OF AND CONCERNING MY PERSON – SETTING THE RECORDS STRAIGHT
I have today through my Solicitors server on the person of Idris Okuneye aka ‘Bobrisky’ a letter of demand for retraction, apology and compensation of One Billion Naira for the libelous and defamatory publications made and or concerning my person. All the allegations made by Bobrisky in the said publications are false and calculated attempt to cast aspersions on my integrity.

I however deem it necessary to clarify some of these allegations in the following terms:
– Regarding the aspect of borrowing Bobrisky’s car while in Lagos. I never borrowed car from him at any point, I only ask him to come with Velar cos that the only Good Car he has as of March 21 2020 what an insult Me mompha Borrow when i have my own car in Lagos

– I never gossiped about Anita Joseph with Bobrisky, I only told him to be careful due to what i heard Anita Joseph said about me when bobrisky and nkechi were having issues on social media. Bobrisky tried to ask me what happened and I refused to tell him and this was clearly stated in the chat.

– Concerning Nkechi Blessing, I only admonish Bobrisky to stop fighting with her as people were beginning to think it was about me.

– Bobrisky invited me to his home to eat and after some days he demanded I pay for the meal I ate and I sent him 1 million naira immediately and Bobrisky posted it on his page.

– I never gossiped about anyone with Bobrisky, if he has proof of any such gossips, he should post it and stop unsending some of our chats.

I urge my fans, lovers and teeming followers to disregard all the falsehood been spread against my person by Bobrisky as further actions are being taken by my legal team to ensure Bobrisky faces the full wrath of the law.

After former Big Brother Naija Housemate Whitemoney paid him a courtesy visit, MC Oluomo, Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers Lagos Chapter, ignited viral comments with a social media post.

MC Oluomo released a video of him and Whitemoney discussing and expressing excitement about the visit on his Instagram page.

MC Oluomo expressed his astonishment at seeing Whitemoney and said that they had a nice conversation.

MC Oluomo went on to say how good it was to have Whitemoney around, thanking Olufumi of Lagos for making it happen.

He wrote: I was surprised when the winner of the BBNaija season 6, Hazel Oyeze Onoduenyi, aka Whitemoney, paid me a courtesy visit. I had a fruitful discussion with him. I must confess it’s nice having him around. Thanks, olufumilagos, for making this happen. Wishing you more height and success

Many Nigerians, however, were taken aback by MC Oluomo’s caption, with many wondering who assisted him in creating the post.

This comes just days after a video leaked online showing MC Oluomo unable to explain himself while speaking about the horrific confrontation at Idumota.

Uche Maduwagu, according to The9jafresh, recently tackled Whitemoney after receiving a signed card from former Senator Dino Melaye.

Whitemoney was seen declaring in a video released online after receiving the card that poverty would not kill him, that he had made it, and that he would sleep well tonight.

In response, Uche Maduagwu, in a post on his Instagram page, criticized Whitemoney for claiming to be made, despite the fact that his colleague Laycon had performed for Grammy.

Uche Maduaguw averred that he sees a drop of greatness in Whitemoney only if he listens to the voice of wisdom.

According to Uche Maduagwu, visiting politicians and billionaires isn’t an achievement but should focus on the restaurant business, which would draw rich and powerful men to him.

The billionaire businessman had accused Jaruma of spreading lies about him and his wife, Regina Daniels, on her Instagram page.

Jaruma was remanded in the Suleja Correctional Centre pending a bail hearing on Friday, according to Justice Ismaila Abdullahi’s judgment on Monday.

On Friday, the judge denied her bail application, stating that her confinement should not be viewed as a punishment for the defendant.

Abdullahi advised all parties engaged in the case not to do anything that could jeopardize the lawsuit’s outcome.

He said, “The court did not remand her in custody as a punitive means to penalise the defendant but to make her present and answer to her case. By this, I shall be quick to point out that the charge against the defendant is bailable but not ordinary.

“I hereby grant her bail on the following conditions: That the surety must be a level 12 civil servant working within the FCT. Also, all the parties involved in the case should stay from anything that would be prejudicial to the case.”

He, however, adjourned the case till February 23 for a hearing.
