After calling the film ‘Emily In Paris’ trash, Nollywood actress Ini Dima-Okojie has gotten more than she asked for.

Netizens were taken aback by this, especially after the release of ‘Chief Daddy 2’, which has been widely panned on social media.

Ini Dima-Okojie wrote on her Instagram account that she didn’t mean to be nasty, but that the film “Emily In Paris” is trash and that someone needs to say it.

She wrote: I don’t mean to be negative but Emily in Paris is trash. There ‘Phew’ someone had to say it.

Ini Dima-Okojie’s statement did not sit well with many Nigerians who criticised her for her popular movie ‘Namaste Wahala’, stating it was a total waste of time.

emma_nuel_lah wrote: Lol! Ini I like you oh but I’d choose £1 over watching namaste wahala anytime. That movie has no bearing. Emily in Paris is actually a nice movie. And somewhat educative. You get to learn simple phrases in French. That your namaste na waste of time.

yetunnde wrote: Probably chasing clout, because I’ve not recovered from 1 movie that she featured in 2019..it was too boring. I love Emily in Paris. It is better than Namste Wahala

sisi_faith wrote: It’s okay to give constructive opinions about foreign movies but not allowed to do when it comes to Nigerian movies, there are lots of nollywood movies on neflix that beats my imagination how they got there, waste of spaces on neflix. Anytime you critise, someone from no where will shout out” do you know the amount of hard work that was put in this work” be nice!.

mizkimoraprecious wrote: U see that rubbish namaste wahala,na serious wahala I go get with anybody wey put that movie up for people to waste their data.
