In 2014, the City People Entertainment Awards presented Rachael Okonkwo with the trophy for “Best Indigenous Comedy Actress.” She was considered for the award of Best Comedy Actress of the Year at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards in 2016 for her performance as Nkoli in the movie “Nkoli Nwa Nsukka,” which was directed by Mac Collins Chidebe.
