Chris Okagbue is a Nigerian model, actor, film producer, and reality television star. He won the Gulder Ultimate Search season 8 reality show titled the Contest of Champions in 2011. He is an Igbo and the son of Onitsha’s former Obi.
Chris does a lot of other things outside acting. He plays piano, guitar, does gymnastics and acrobatics, creates screen plays, songs, sketches, and dances as he was previously in a dance company.
Sandra Okagbue, a former model and beauty queen, is his sister. Chris began his career in show business as a model after graduating from high school. He stumbled into movie acting and has been fantastic ever since.

On June 23, 1987, Christopher Ofala Okechukwu Okagbue was born into the royal family of the late H.R.H. Obi Ofala Okechukwu Okagbue and Ogechukwu Clara Okagbue, the former Obi of Onitsha.
Sandra Okagbue, a former model and beauty queen, his twin brother Christian, and three younger sisters, Jane, Christabel, and Bella, are his parents’ six children. He graduated from the University of Lagos with a degree in sociology.

He debuted in entertainment as a model at the age of 17, featuring in commercials for Cadbury Plc, MTN, Nigerian Breweries, Coca-Cola, and Airtel.
Chris began his acting career in 2007 after being offered a part while accompanying friends to an audition and opting to take it. In the television series The Station, he played Preye Pepple. Achor Yusuf directed the series, which provided him his second acting role as Lucky Edeghor in The Maze.

In the comic drama Election Fever, which highlighted the Nigerian government and electoral system, he made his stage acting debut. The piece was directed by Bolanle Austen-Peters and was supported by The Ford Foundation, the British Council, and the Lagos Theatre Festival.
Orange Drugs Limited appointed Okagbue as a brand ambassador for Passion Energy Drink in 2012. He appeared in TV and print advertisements for the brand. Okagbue was named the Nollywood Travel Film Festival’s official Festival Ambassador for the 2018 edition in 2018.
Winning Gulder Ultimate Search
Okagbue won season 8 of the reality show Gulder Ultimate Search in 2011. The “Contest of Champions” show was staged in the Kukuruku Hills in Egbetua areas of Akoko-Edo, Edo State.
The aim was to find General Maximilian’s second misplaced helmet. From the initial 30 contenders, ten champions were picked to appear on the show.
Okagbue was crowned champion. He won seven million Nigerian naira, an SUV, and a 500,000 clothing allowance for a year as the winner.
As one of the show’s top three previous winners, he reappeared in season 9 of the Gulder Ultimate Search, themed “Gatekeepers’ Fortune,” where he was assigned the unusual role of Gatekeeper.
