Gbenro was born in Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria on December 8, 1985. Gbenro was one of five children born to Engineer and Mrs. Ajibade. Gbenro lost his oldest brother Jude Ige Ajibade to kidney disease in 2014; little is known about his other siblings other than the fact that he is very close to them all.
Gbenro attended Makurdi International School and Saint Gabriel’s Secondary School in Benue State for his secondary schooling. After completing his high school graduation, he attended Benue State University.
