Dele Odule was born on November 23rd, 1961 in Oru-Ijebu, Ijebu North local government area, Ogun state, Nigeria. He is a Nigerian film actor, producer and thespian.

Dele Odule Early Life and Education

Odule was born in 1961 in the town of Oru Ijebu, in the Ijebu North local government of Ogun State, where he attended primary and high school. He earned a Grade II Certificate from the Teacher’s Training College in Oru before enrolling at the University of Ibadan in Oyo State to study Theatre Arts.

Dele Odule Career

Odule made his first television appearance in 1982 and hasn’t looked back since. He bagan in the Oloko Theatre Group, which was directed by Mukaila Adebisi. He made his début in 1986 before breaking into the spotlight with his role in the film Ti Oluwa Ni Ile.

The actor has been embroiled in a few controversies over his career, the most notable of which was with Yinka Quadri and Lere Paimo, Baba Eda. The origins of the feud with Lere Paimo Baba Eda, whom he described as a father figure, began the fight for the presidency of the Association of Nigeria Theatre Arts Practitioners in 2009. The elders apparently asked Odule to step aside for another candidate, but he refused. He was elected President of the Nigerian Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association in 2014. (TAMPAN).
