Rotimi was born in Surulere and now lives in Ajangbadi, Lagos state, Nigeria, where he pursues his acting profession.
He is the first of five children in his family. He has two brothers and three lovely sisters. Rotimi Salami is the son of a steel construction engineer and an entrepreneur.
