Foluke Daramola-Salako was born on February 15th, 1978 to a family from Ekiti state, Nigeria. She is a Nigerian Yoruba actress and a producer.

Foluke hails from Ekiti State, the Southwestern part of Nigeria and grew up in Lagos, Nigeria.
Daramola was born on the 15th of February. She received her bachelor’s degree from Obafemi Awolowo University. In 1998, she made her feature film debut in the Palace series. She also appeared in Durodola and Above Law, and her daughter will host a reality show in 2016.
Her film, Cobweb, in which she produced and performed, got her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the Africa Movie Academy Awards. She stated that the film was influenced by her actual experiences because her parents did not want her to begin performing while still studying. She is the initiator of the “Action Against Rape in Africa” campaign, which aims to reduce rape and bring its perpetrators to justice in Africa.

Foluke made her film debut in the 1998 television series Palace. Since then, she has been in other films, including Above Love (2004), Durodola 2 (2005), and Official Romance (2004). Foluke remarked in a March 2018 interview with The Punch (Lagos, Nigeria) that her enormous boobs are an asset, not a handicap, and that “the first attraction for most males who come across me is usually sexual.” They are immediately moved when they view my large boobs. But, as a person, I would never go out with a man who is drawn to my boobs since I know it is too common. As far as I’m concerned, women should view these ‘assets’ as a blessing rather than a problem. Only by doing so will they learn how to carry themselves better. They should be proud of themselves and not be embarrassed.”
Foluke has been married twice. Her first marriage in 2005 to Tunde Sobowale collapsed in 2008 after three years of marriage on grounds of domestic violence. She married her current husband, Kayode Salako in 2013. She has two children from her first marriage. She says her second husband is her soulmate and is happy to have found happiness the second time.
