She has worked as a freelance men’s wardrobe stylist, designing clothes for many well-known NBA and WNBA players.

Asia Irving was born Asia Susan Irving on January 12, 1991 in Seattle, Washington to Drederick and Elizabeth Irving and raised in West Orange, New Jersey with her younger brother, Kyrie, and younger step-sister, London. Her father was a professional basketball player and coach in New Jersey.
Kyrie Irving is an American professional basketball player for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association (NBA), who was named NBA Rookie of the Year in 2012 and inspired her to start designing.
Her mother, Elizabeth Irving born as Cynthia Janette White Mountain, was an American college volleyball player who played for the Boston University Terriers women’s volleyball team as well as a trained Pianist who sang and played gospel choir hymns. She died of an illness, a Drug induced sepsis syndrome when Asia was five years old, which made her husband, Asia’s dad, Drederick raise Asia alone with the help of her aunts.
