Oluremi Tinubu, better known as Remi Tinubu, is a devoted Nigerian politician and the former first lady of Lagos State, serving from 1999 to 2007. She is now a senator in the Nigerian National Assembly representing the Lagos Central Senatorial District. Remi Tinubu is a member of the All Progressives Congress political party (APC).

Oluremi Tinubu is the youngest of a family of 12 children from Ogun State. She was born and raised in the state of Ogun.
Oluremi Tinubu began her academic career at Our Lady of Apostles Secondary School in Ijebu-Ode. She earned a PGD from The Redeemed Christian Bible College in 2010 and a West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Exam (WASSCE) in 1979.
She graduated with a B.S. in education from the University of Ife and an Adeyemi College of Education National Certificate of Education in Botany and Zoology.
