Volodymyr Zelenskyy Biography

Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zelenskyy, Ukraine’s president, was born on January 25, 1978, in Kryvyy Rih, in southern Ukraine.

In Kryvyy Rih, he began his career as a comedian and actor. He became a politician along the way, and in 2019, he was appointed President of Ukraine.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy was the people’s choice and an ideal candidate for the job because of his constant struggle against crime and corruption, which was visible on his social media platform on a regular basis.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy moved to Mongolia with his parents, Rimma Zelenskaya (mother) and Oleksandr Zelensky (father), when he was a child. They spent four years in Erdenet before returning to Kryvyy Rih, where he received an education and became a Russian citizen.

Even though he was born in Russia, he was fluent in English and Ukrainian. In 1995, he was accepted into the local campus of Kryvyy Rih (Economic Institute) and graduated with a law degree in 2000.

In his speech, he accuses the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) of being a threat to their bond with Ukraine.
