“EFCC, ICPC, DSS suppose arrest him”- Reactions as MC Oluomo’s son spotted spraying new notes on Kwam1
Fans and followers of Nigerian entertainment took to social media to react after a video of MC Oluomo’s son, King West spraying new notes on Fuji Singer Wasiu Ayinde went viral.
In Nigeria, the scarcity of new Naira notes has been a major problem in recent times, causing a lot of frustration and anger among the people.
This has led to several reactions from the public, especially when someone is seen flaunting large amounts of money.
In a new video, MC Oluomo’s son, King West was spotted spraying new notes on legendary Fuji Singer, Wasiu Ayinde at an event.
The sight of King West spraying the new notes while others are struggling to get their hands on them caused a lot of uproar on social media.
Many people took to social media to express their anger and disappointment at the situation, with some calling on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) and Department of State Services (DSS) to arrest King West.
See reactions below:
– @officialefcc @icpcnigeria @nigeriapoliceforce Get them arrested
– There are some sets of people that owns and controls the country and there are others just living in the country.. #Power
-They should carry all of them, if not then they should release that girl
– The same reason an actress was arrested last week. And she’s making headlines. Now what do we call these ? Some animals are more superior than other animals (animal farm). Scarcity ! Scarcity !!! Yet the same bills still finds it way to owambe …. Olopa ma Ko efribody
– @officialefcc be firm and thorough… and never be biased. Anyone that does this should get the Same treatment the actress got .
– Na politicians and family hold the money
– That actress Simi gold was arrested for simi reason right? Oh wow.
– See why the new Naira policy is not benefiting the poor 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️😭😭 the bank you’re going that you can’t find, MC will enter and come out with enough cash🤷🏾♀️🫠 I said what I said when I said both old and new has to coexist. Thank God we will get a new CBN governor soon
– There are money changers in parties, and they bought from them, other people are doing the same thing too.The money changers are the ones that are getting the money from the bank, people are just changing to mint notes. If a celebrity sprays money, they most likely would have gotten it from the event from money changers.
– In the end, those they were trying to punish still have more than enough access to the new money. It’s still masses receiving the punishment in their stead.
– Nigerians just open their mouth to comment with emotions without applying wisdom… First, they weren’t spraying the money, dey were dropping it inside the carton, secondly why blame them for scarcity of naira wen dey could av bought it at the venue. It’s their money, dey bought it to spray, u can equally go to a party now, get mint for urself and spray the host of the event or the musician. Very simple logic, it’s nt everything u add emotions to or find sum people to blame. Blame the people that put us in this mess in the first place 👏
