Nigerian actress, Laide Bakare, has come under heavy criticism on social media after denying rumors of her leaked private video and photos.
The actress, who has been in the news recently over the alleged leaked video and photos, took to her social media handle to refute the claims, stating that the person in the video and photos was not her.
She issue a disclaimer noting that she was inclined to ignore the story but has decided to speak out to protect her reputation and address the concerns of her family, friends, and fans.
Laide Bakare went further to assert her standing as an actress, movie producer, and role model of international repute and also state her intention to involve law enforcement and cyber security experts to bring the perpetrators of the malicious act to justice.
However, many netizens were quick to call out the actress, accusing her of lying and attempting to cover up the incident because they have the video and they have seen it.’
