“Yeye dey smell for your head, call the govt you supported”- Fans drag Ijebu after he pledged to the public to raise funds for his old school
Popular comic actor Tayo Amokede popularly known as Ijebu came under fire from fans on social media after he pledged to raise funds to renovate his old secondary school.
In a post on his social media account, Ijebu shares the bad state of his old school urged the public to contribute towards the development of his alma mater.
He emphasized the public can make the school better without government support.
He wrote, ” I Believe We can do this without government support… My Town People Arise Now. Thanks”
However, fans were quick to call out Ijebu, reminding him that he had previously shown support for APC and should therefore call on them to provide funding for public schools, instead of relying on individual donations.
Several fans also tell him to use his money since he has money to lodge at hotels every weekend.
