“You are highly missed, Baba mi”- Veteran actress Toyin Adegbola pays tribute to Alafinn of Oyo 1 year after death
Nollywood veteran actress, Toyin Adegboola, has taken to her social media page to pay tribute to the late Alafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, who passed away exactly one year ago.
In her tribute, Toyin Adegboola shared a photo of herself and the late monarch, who she described as her father, She also expressed how much she misses him.
She wrote, ” You are highly missed, Baba mi. Hmm. It’s exactly a year that you left this sinful world to be with your fathers. Just like yesterday, you left us without saying goodbye. Continue to rest in the Lord, Baba mi Atanda. Iku Baba Yeye.”
The late Alafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, was one of the longest-reigning traditional rulers in Nigeria. He passed away on April 14, 2022, at the age of 82.
