Skitmaker Oluwadolarz raises the bar as he teaches Nigerians the actual definition of “Idan” (Watch)
Popular Nigerian skitmaker Oluwadolarz has raised several eyebrows as he teaches Nigerians the actual definition of the trending word ‘Idan”.
For those who have been pretty active on the interent, Idan is the new word that is recently and consistently being used by netizens and folks on the street.
Idan has its root in Yoruba, one of Nigeria’s three most popularly spoken languages, and the word can directly being translated to mean ‘magic’.
Like most buzzwords, Idan has socially been used by folks on the streets and on the cyber space to mean “Boss”. Colloquially then, it is used to refer to someone whom a person holds in high esteem and regard.
Such individual is seen to posses such attributes as power, wealth, influence, etc. It is then synonyms to such words as strength, influence and power.
Comedian Oluwadolarz however decided to use of his comedy skits to explain the meaning of the word “Idan” using 3 different scenarios.
Using marriage as an example, Oluwadolarz said if Idan wants to marry, it’s the bride’s father that would prostrate for Idan who wants to marry his daughter.
Using Police arrest as an example to explain Idan, Oluwadorlarz utters says ‘If you report Idan give to police, na police dey ask if they should come to arrest or not.”
In conclusion, skitmaker Oluwadolarz uses election results as an example, the electoral officer to Idan “Election results are out, it seems you lost election.”
Reacting, Idan said; “I don’t need your vote, Idan will rule regardless.”
Oluwadorlaz concluded; “Citizens no dey vote for Idan, na Idan dey choose when to rule, get me my mandate.”
