Late Nigerian actor, Murphy Afolabi, who passed away on May 14th, 2023, will be buried today in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
Recall that The9jafresh reported earlier that, the late actor body will be taken to his hometown in Osogbo in Osun State but a new report from a close family source reveals that the family of the actor have finally concluded that the actor should be buried in Lagos.
Murphy Afolabi will be buried in his Ikorodu home, today by 1 pm.

Showbiz personality and the convener of the Best of Nollywood Awards, Seun Oloketuyi, while confirming Murphy’s death to popular newspaper, said that he fell down in the bathroom at his house in Ikorodu, Lagos, on Sunday morning, May 14, 2023.
He said, “It is true. He passed away after taking a fall in his bathroom at his house in Ikorodu this morning.”
Many Nollywood actors and actresses have taken to social media to express their condolences to the family of the deceased and mourn the loss of the talented actor.
