An activist, Kenechukwu Okeke, has come underneath fire for dragging 50 humans before a Chief Magistrate’s courtroom in Abuja over their alleged roles inside the #EndSARS protests that took place last month.
The 9JAFRESH had reported that Okeke alleged that in the insurrection, his properties had been destroyed and the defendants who promoted the #EndSARS protests have to be added to justice.
The defendants inside the match consist of Senior Pastor, Daystar Christian Centre, Pastor Sam Adeyemi; activist, Aisha Yesufu; ex-Super Eagles legend, Kanu Nwankwo; a former Director-General, Bureau for Public Sector Reform, Dr Joe Abah; journalist, Kiki Mordi, and actors, Yul Edochie and Uche Jombo.
Musician Damini Ogulu aka Burna Boy, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido, Folarin Falana popularly known as Falz; and social media comedians, Debo Adebayo aka Mr Macaroni, and Maryam Akpaokagi aka Taoma.
Other musicians sued encompass Peter and Paul Okoye, Innocent Idibia aka Tuface, Bankole Wellington popularly referred to as Banky W, Tiwa Savage, Michael Ajereh aka Don Jazzy and Yemi Alade.
The remember has generated heated controversy with a number of the defendants lambasting Okeke on Twitter for submitting a “frivolous” fit.

@Mochievous, however, suggested Okeke to “take into account joining the amazing legal professionals who’re volunteering pro bono to help get peaceful protesters illegally detained out. Might be a better use of it slow.”
