Kate Henshaw-Nuttall, professionally known as Kate Henshaw, was born on July 19, 1971 in Lagos, Nigeria. At the 2008 African Movie Academy Awards, she was named Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in the film Stronger Than Pain.
Kate Henshaw Early Life and Education
Kate Henshaw was born in Cross River State, the oldest of four children. She attended St. Mary private school in Ajele, Lagos, for her elementary education.
She was later accepted for secondary school at the Federal Government Girl College in Calabar.
After completing a year of remedial studies at the University of Calabar, she majored in Medical Microbiology at the School of Medical Lab Science at LUTH (Lagos University Teaching Hospital) in Lagos.
Henshaw worked as a nurse at Bauchi State General Hospital in Nigeria. Kate Henshaw began her career as a model, appearing in several commercials, including a print and television advertisement for Shield deodorant.
