Dunsin Oyekan, also known as The Eagle, is a gospel singer, guitarist, and songwriter who was born on November 5, 1984.
He is also a devoted father, pastor, and the organizer of the Code Red Worship Experience.
He has many powerful and inspiring songs to his credit, and he is a well-known gospel singer.
Dunsin Oyekan Early Life and Education
Dunsin Oyekan was born on Monday, November 5, 1984, in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria.
He grew up as his parents’ only child.
His father had a big influence on his musical tastes, songwriting, and instrument playing.
He usually took him to a series of musical concerts and other Christian events to pique his interest.
Dunsin Oyekan began playing guitar at the age of ten.
When Dunsin was younger, his father was said to have predicted that the dead would come back to life through him.
His father, Pastor Gbadebo Oyekan was one of the pioneers of the Pentecostal move in the nation and he was also the leader of “Spiritual Singers”, a music group in Ilorin.

Dunsin Oyekan attended the Airforce Nursery and Primary School, Ilorin, and then attended Federal Government College (FGC), Ilorin.
He later completed his secondary education at the Baptist Model High School, Ilorin.
He gained admission into the University of Ilorin, where he graduated as an Industrial Chemistry.

Dunsin Oyekan’s ministry started with his father’s love for music. During his early age, his father talked him into learning to play the bass guitar. He obliged, and at the age of 10 he mastered the instrument and that sparked a passion for music. He joined the local singing group in the choir and made progress towards the music industry.
Dunsin Oyekan is a music producer by profession, he started learning music with guitar, but he now plays different musical instruments.
He once served as the music director of the COZA choir – Avalanche of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA). His exit from the church was reportedly due to a dispute he had with the church head.
Dunsin despite his loss was not deterred, he continued to further the gospel to where he is called to.
