Lara George was born on June 25, 1978, into the family of Mr. Oluwole Bajomo in Lagos State, Nigeria’s administrative division. Her family is from Lagos State.

Lara George attended Queen’s College, Yaba in Lagos, Nigeria, for primary and secondary school before attending Lagos State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. She put her academic discipline aside and focused on her music career when she auditioned for the Campus Fellow Choir.

While on campus, Lara was in a now disbanded music bunch called KUSH (Kinetically Ushering Salvation into Hearts and Homes). In 2009, she released another album with singles like ‘Kolebaje’ and ‘Halleluyah’,The result of a production collaboration between Nigeria’s prolific Music Producers; Wole Oni, Wole Adesanya and America’s Jeff Taylor (who has worked with musical legends like Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson and Boyz2Men)

In 2012, she released her third album titled ‘HIGHER-the Dansaki Album’ while pregnant with her second child, the song went on to receive numerous awards and nominations.

n 2014, to commemorate her 10th year wedding anniversary, Lara George released a celebration of love album titled ‘Love Nwantintin’ going on to release her fourth album ‘The Medley Album’ and in 2017, she released ‘A Slice of Heaven’. She is currently signed to SoForte Music label.
