Aremu Afolayan is a well-known Nigerian film actor and producer who was born and raised in the Lagos suburb of Ebute Metta. He is best known as the younger brother of Kunle Afolayan, a well-known Nigerian film actor, award-winning director, and entrepreneur. He is also recognized for his lead role in the film “Idamu akoto” and for being one of Ade Love’s sons, a well-known theatre and cinema director and producer.

Aremu was born and reared by his parents in Ebute Metta. His father, Adeyemi Josiah Afolayan (a.k.a. Ade Love), is an accomplished theatre and film director and producer. He grew up with four siblings: Gabriel, Kunle, and Aremu, three brothers, and Moji Afolayan, a sister. He is the descendant of a long line of artists.
