“Are you shooting for ritualist?” – Portable calls out video director TG Omori for telling him to pay $50k (N22.6M) for a music video shoot (Audio)
Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola better known as Portable who is well known for trending the wrong reasons is in the news again but this time with popular Nigerian music video director, TG Omori.
In the audio making the rounds online, Portable, the “Zazoo Zehh” crooner calls out TG Omori for telling him topay $50,000 (22.6M) for a music video shoot.
According to Portable who recorded his conversation with TG Omori in the viral audio that hit the internet, he decided to reach to the famous music video director because of the great job he did on his hit song “Zazoo Zehh” featuring Olamide and Poco Lee.
Undoubtedly, TG Omori, is a top notch music video director and even the most popular at the moment, he has worked with top Nigerian artistes that include, Olamide, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Tekno, Kiss Daniel, Fireboy DML, Falz, Timaya, Naira Marley, Asake and many others. He charges the highest for a music video shoot at them moment.
However, Portable who is obviously not expecting such amout of price from TG Omori expresses his utmost displeasure as he noted that he would have to find another video director as there is many talents out there that are ready to work with him.
Portable who is still curious about the $50,000 price tag from TG Omori asks the music director if he has been shooting videos for the ritualists over the past few months. In 2022, TG Omori works more with Asake, Kizz Daniel, Fireboy DML Black Sheriff and others.
This is however, not the first time Nigeria artistes will complain about the price of TG Omori music video shoot. Few months ago, rapper Blaqbonez self directed the video of his nostalgic bp, dubbed, Back in Uni following TG Omori charge for a music video shoot.
