In a show of immense support and appreciation, fans of Nigerian yoruba movie industry recently surprised veteran actors Lalude and Iya Gbokan with brand new cars.
The heartwarming gesture, which left both actors overwhelmed with joy, caught the attention of fellow artists and fans alike, including the talented comic actress Mama no Network.
Mama no Network took to social media to extend her heartfelt congratulations to Lalude and Iya Gbokan.
She wrote, ” Big Congratulations to the 2 Icons may it never be your coffin @iyagbonkan1 @laludefilmproductions”
Recalls that last month, Iya Gbokan noted how she has been acting for decades yet doesn’t have a car.She claimed that she has been jumping on buses every day to get to her destination.
Iya Gbonkan called on her fans to celebrate her now that she is still alive and not wait to kill a cow when she is dead.
Recognising the actress’s contributions to the entertainment industry and her current struggles, Pastor Gabriel visited the veteran actress at her home in Osogbo to rallied his supporters and initiated a fundraising campaign to support Iya Gbokan’s endeavors.
A super fan of the veteran actress identified as Mrs Omobolanle Olatise single-handedly donated a car to Iya Gbonkan, asides the earlier N5 million donation.
Similarly, skit-maker Kamo had earlier raised funds to buy a car for veteran actor Fatai Oodua, popular known as Lalude.
A few days after, a blogger shares the video which attracted one of her fans to give N3 million to get a new car.
Also, Lalude is receiving a donation of N1 million among others.
In a surprise move , Kamo invited Lalude and present him a Toyota Carmy 2008 model.
